We got to spend 2 glorious hours with this couple!!
Many times couples feel like that is a TON of time to have a camera in your face, but here’s the thing - most of what we’re doing with that time is walking around and directing you, making things feel fun, and allowing you to feel like you’re just spending some time with some old friends along the way.
Those 2 hours go by SO FAST…but are SO critical to spend…because how many times in your lives are you going to be in front of the camera like this? Odds are, not many. And we want to give you as much experience, variety, and location as we can in our time together!
Prior to shoot day, lia absolutely KILLED IT with her and Brandon’s outfit selections. Her first pairing were casual, but well-fitted caramel tones, which looked incredible against the bright backdrop of anna maria island! The colors also complemented their skin tones so well, and again…everything fit incredibly! We cannot stress enough how much it matters to have things fit you correctly. Make sure to take the time to find what looks good ANDDDD WHAT FITS WELL.
for the second portion of their session, we made our way over to bean point. we couldn’t resist some dreamy light as we walked closer to the sand, so we didn’t. :) Whenever we see good light, we’re stopping. hands-down, alwayssss!
Lia chose a flowy dress for her second outfit, with brandon switching out to a long sleeve henley for his second look. a slight change can give you more variety in your shots, even if you still keep it fitted but comfy!
This session shows that you can be casual, comfy, and well-dressed…all while trusting in us to pick interesting areas to give you a ton of variety in your session! Plus, getting comfortable in front of the camera and feeling comfortable with each other are the two best indicators of how your session will turn out. Just like anything, the more practice you have, the better you get!
